My girlfriend is a huge Nana fan and there is a song she is always humming. I know it talks about a sailors wife putting jewels in the sand to guide him home. Does anyone recognize the lyrics. I have tried everything I can think of. She's in the hospital and I wanted to put the song on her ipod for her.Any clue in the right direction would really help.

Pour ma tendre marraine, qui aimait, chantait et ressemblait à Nana comme une sœur jumelle, et qui est partie brutalement il y a 17 ans.
Elle suivait les concerts de Nana, et a chaque fois, dans le public, on venant lui demander discrètement si elle était sa sœur!
Nana a bercé mon enfance, et quand j'ai le cafard, j'écoute comme un soleil, petit garçon, les parapluies...
D'où elle est, je suis certaine qu'elle veille...

Although I supposed that I was knowing every recorded song of our beloved Nana, I discovered on the Canadian Nana-website of Stéphane Robert that there is still an old greek single that I have never heard or found before. The title of the song is: " Mousitsa mou " and the labelname and number are: APOLLO SYSP-43 (1959).
Has any of you this single in his (or her) collection ?

Why was Un Posto nel Cuore not included as a bonus track on the Tu m'oublies CD in the French box set ? This is one of 4 Italian songs that appear only on the double album Con Tutto il Cuore and is very rare. The song is an Italian version of Je Reviens Chez Nous and all other versions of this song are on CD.
If there was not enough room then why didn't they leave out one of the other bonus tracks which can easily be found on CD... It makes no sense.

Dear fans...

If there is to be no German box set then why not just remaster on CD only those German albums which have only been released on LP and not on CD and sell each one separately? The singles (45 RPMs) from the 1960's can put together on a separate CD. How many people think this is a good idea?

Is there anyone out there who can provide a translation of the song "from German into English or into French... I would really appreciate it.

Je conseille à tous les 2 volumes intitulés "Meine größten Erfolge", sortis en 2008 et en 2009 sur le marché germanophone. Il ne s'agit pas d'une compilation de plus. Sur le volume 1, il y a une chanson chinoise (de 2008), une coréenne (de 2008) par exemple, donc quelques titres récents introuvables en France. Sur le volume 2, il y a 3 nouvelles chansons splendides chantées en allemand (on s'aperçoit d'ailleurs que la voix de Nana est toujours aussi brillante et extraordinaire), quelques titres en grec, absolument magnifiques aussi, etc.
Ces deux volumes vous raviront.

I am very disappointed to hear that! There are still a number of LP's and songs on 45 RPM which still have not been released on CD and it's so tedious having to keep turning over a 45 RPM record... plus its poor sound quality. Ce n'est pas juste!

I just got some information from Universal Germany:
- The Athens DVD will be released on Friday
- The Albert Hall DVD will not be released before 2010
- A German Box Set will definetly not be released

I just got a message that the dvd concert from athens will NOT be released by UNIVERSAL.
I spoke to some one and he told me that within the company NO ONE knows anything about the release of any box.
Question is WHO will released it ??? Maybe Mercury ???
But, again, they will keep me posted.

while spending my holidays on a sunny Crete, I spoke with some people i know very well and have contacts with the record company.
However, he phoned me and told me that there is STILL NO NEWS ABOUT THE DVD/CD on her final concert in Athens.
Although, on their website there is a message that it will be relased soon. They will keep me informed. So, we all have to be very patient, again.
